Morgan Wijay is a highly esteemed volleyball coach with over 28 years of experience, dedicated to coaching and mentoring athletes. Her career spans high school and club volleyball, where she consistently prioritizes guiding players towards college scholarships and preparing them for life beyond sports.
Morgan and her husband Indi founded Supernova All-Stars in 2009 and their vision is to continue to build the Supernova All-Stars organization for young athletes to have access and opportunities to excel in sports.
Career Highlights:
- Back to Back CIF Champion: Morgan led Alemany High School's girls volleyball to consecutive CIF Southern Section Championships in 2021 and 2022, marking the school's first-ever titles in girls' volleyball
- CIF Coach of the Year: Morgan was awarded CIF COY in 2021 & 2022 after leading her Alemany Warriors to back to back CIF Championships
- State Champion: Morgan helped lead Harvard Westlake to a 2008 CIF State Championship
- Final Four State Championship: In 2016 Morgan lead her Alemany Warriors to the final four in state for the first time in school’s history
- 4 CIF Southern Section Runner-Up Titles
- 3 CIF Southern Section Final Four Appearances
Hall of Fame Inductions:
- Delaware County Athletic Hall of Fame: Recognized for her outstanding contributions to athletics, Morgan Wijay was inducted into the Delaware County Athletic Hall of Fame.
- Wes Del HS Athletic Hall of Fame: Morgan’s exceptional athletic achievements also earned her a place in the Wes Del High School Athletic Hall of Fame, celebrating her influence and success within the school's athletic programs.
High School & Collegiate Career:
- Division I setter at the University of Houston: Morgan was an All-Conference setter and set in the NCAA tournament all 4 years of her collegiate career
- AAU All-American: 2 time AAU All-American
- Top 25 Recruit: Morgan was voted top 25 recruit by Volleyball Magazine
- Fab 50: Morgan was recognized as a top 50 player in the nation
- Daley Hunter Award: Morgan achieved 3 All-Conference recognitions in 3 different sports while maintaining a 4.0 GPA
Personal Life: Morgan received many offers to play professionally but she chased her dream of starting her career in teaching and building a family. Her daughter London is currently a Division I outside hitter at USC and is studying sports physiology. Her son Indiana is a Division I quarterback at the University of Houston and is majoring in finance with aspirations in private equity. Additionally, along with co-owning and running Supernova her husband Indi owns and runs a social media transaction app called MyCutTV.
Expanding Supernova All-Stars: In 2024, Morgan and Indi expanded Supernova All-Stars to include football and basketball, broadening their impact on young athletes. They remain dedicated to fostering positive influences and teaching values of communication, self-respect, and excellence in their community they have built.
